Diagnostic TestingWe have many diagnostic tools that allow our staff to better diagnose your pet’s condition or illness. It is our commitment to stay on the cutting edge of diagnostic technology.

Among the common types of diagnostic testing is in-house cytology. Cytology can be performed on the skin or the ears and determines whether the infection your pet is experiencing is due to yeast or bacteria. Cytology can also be used to diagnose many types of tumors. Other diagnostic tests, such as blood work and urinalysis, are used to diagnose illness and help uncover growing problems in your pet. Intestinal parasite tests, or fecals, are helpful as a diagnostic tool and a routine check for microscopic parasites. We utilize high-quality referral laboratories to augment our in-house diagnostic laboratory.

Radiology is a safe diagnostic tool that we use to look inside the body in a completely non-invasive way. The use of radiology gives us a view of the internal organs in your pet’s body that we otherwise could not see. It’s an important diagnostic tool that helps veterinarians detect illness, often before your pet is acting sick. Our in house digital radiology system allows us to capture images that will help us in diagnosing and treating your pet in a timely manner. It is our goal to provide your pet with the highest level of medical care possible, and this is just one of the many ways we achieve that.
